Notes:

• In the event of the extremely slow filtration process, please rinse the filter with warm water, not the boiling water.
• Please soak filter and pads in water for overnight, to remove the air in between the particles and material inside.
• If filter turning green, rinse with warm water and take care that the unit does not stand in direct sunlight.
• If water flowing over the middle ring, it may be because of the activated carbon is blocked. Simply rinse the filter with warm water (not boiling water).

Water has a unique taste that depends on the elements it contains. Tap water may have some smell and taste before it is filtered. During the filtration process, impurities like chlorine and heavy metals such as lead are removed, and the taste they cause is eliminated.

Our water filters not only filter the water, but also remineralise it by balancing essential minerals that balance the pH of the water to a slightly alkaline level, which is better for the body. This gives the filtered water a subtle taste.

We believe that our filtered water has a neutral or slightly mineral taste, but it certainly does not taste like polluted or chlorinated water, and that is how it should be.

While most people enjoy the taste of their water after filtration, please note that taste is a personal preference and may differ from person to person. While we assure you that water filtered with Aimex water filters is clean and healthy, and the taste is what most buyers find ‘delicious’, please understand that as filtration is a fixed process, we cannot alter the taste to suit your liking.

It may happen that when you start drinking filtered water, you may notice the difference and it may take some time to get used to the new taste. Knowing that it is good for your health makes it more enjoyable.
